Forbes has today published its annual list of the world’s richest people “Forbes list of billionaires”. 1426 people made the list of billionaires this year from all around the world.Son of Saudi father and Ethiopian mother, Mohammed Al-Amoudi migrated to Saudi Arabia as a child. He started investing in Sweden in the 1970s. He made his initial fortune in construction in Saudi Arabia. Al Amoudi is also the biggest individual investor in Ethiopia.
Carlos Slim of Mexico retained his position as the world’s richest man for the fourth consecutive year with a net worth of $73 billion. Microsoft Corp cofounder Bill Gates ranked second place at $67 billion and Amancio Ortega of Spain third at $57 billion.
